Tbh calling Chinese protochemistry and medical theory "Chinese alchemy" is kinda like calling Taoism "Chinese Christianity"
Alchemy is defined by it's theory, methodology, and practical applications. It has entirely different methodology and theory from Daojia/Daojiao. Similarities between its practical applications are only similar because yeah, chemistry works the same everywhere on earth.
AND ACTUALLY a scant handful of Chinese protochemistry manuscripts made it to the Arab world FAR before our Manuscripts made it back to China. If you want to be pedantic about it, alchemy should be called "Western Daojiao."

I looked up the lavender scare last night and was sadly unsurprised to see that the last time the community came together...was a lavender scare.
Pride was a riot because the government started doing to us then what Florida is doing to us now. It was triggered when a man was fired from his job on grounds of being gay and tried to take it to court.
This is why we have pride. This is why "think of the children" is/was an awful rhetoric to push at leather daddies and drag queens. It's not just a bad opinion or stupid discourse, it's a talking point for the right wing to justify fucking kill us.
It was never "just discourse" it was a right wing psyop to cripple us from coming together to fight against attacks just like this.
Your enemies aren't other queer people with labels you don't like. Those are your allies. Because you know who else doesn't like them?

The last picture is, in fact, a duckling! The parents lost their baby and adopted an orphaned duckling and raised it.

Okay so like, I can’t get over this adopted baby duckling. In relation to loons, ducklings are an r-selected species. Like, there’s the understanding that some baby ducklings get eaten by turtles and so they lay big batches of eggs to make up for it.
But loons are k-selected and invest a ton of time into their babies. They only have one or two babies, both parents take care of them, and they ride around on their parents so they don’t become turtle food.
This is like, the best taken care of duckling in the world. They are gonna be such good parents, even though their kid is a weird vegan who can’t swim underwater.
